Studio Brief 4 - Ideas

Ideas

So i started to produce some ideas for my three posters and here they are...

These are the ideas that I'm thinking of taking forward.

This idea is basically trying to tell the audience how people become unrecognisable if they have to much surgery. So what I've done to communicate this was the have an image of a expressionless women and have the tag line "Sarah just turned 82 today" taking on a humours approach, I'm basically suggesting that Sarah doesn't look 82 as she has had to much surgery.

One of my favourite ideas but properly the most time consuming if i was going to attempt this idea. This idea consists of using a lenticular image and on one angle you would see a normal looking person and at the other angle the person would be disfigured due to a botched cosmetic surgery.
Suggesting that cosmetic surgery has gone so far that people can start to pick and choose what body parts they want. Like a Mr. Potato head or a Barbie doll.
This was an idea for the type only poster. It may not be totally clear but my idea was to have the word "COSMETIC SURGERY" and then have the type break up like in the image above with the "c". The type would be a representation of a body part and the broken parts of the type would be connected by skin or flesh to communicate botched surgery's and trying to show what goes on once you're "under the knife". I really like this idea and could communicate my message well, as well as being visual strong as a type only piece.
This other type piece, would essentially show the words "Don't let society change you" with the typical surgical lines representing cosmetic surgery. However I've crossed out the word "Don't" to represent society grip of what the perfect look is on women who are insecure and suffering from self images issues.
Another one of my favourite for image only. This one would essentially be a gorilla advertisement. So the idea here would be for a human face to be stuck on the wall with peeling wallpaper representing skin, revealing muscle tissue underneath showing the risks with cosmetic surgery and to shock people to see what they could possible look like if anything could go wrong. To make this more interactive, the peeling paper (the skin) could be rolled up to reveal facts about surgical risks.

This is what it would look like on a wall.
This last idea, would be a more direct shock advert. What I'm trying to communicate here would be a face mask inside a display case to show how far cosmetic surgery is going, as it would advance so far that people would be paying for a whole face instead of have bits and bobs of their face improved.
