Sudio Breif 4 - Brief Introduction

Brief Introduction

Today we was brief on our last brief in the module. "Studio brief 4 - Message and Delivery". This brief is essentially an extension from studio brief 3, where as we have to take the research we undertook and design three posters, and visually communicate our chosen message.

Our three posters had to work as a set or series and communicate what message we had concluded in our research in studio brief 3. We were told to avoid vague messages and generalisation to a certain extent and that keeping the posters simple would be beneficial.

There were a few restrictions in this brief then any other in the module. Each poster had to be different in terms of design. The first poster had to be type only so no use of imagery, second poster had to be image only and the third type and image only. The biggest retraction of the whole brief, which could become tricky, is that we had to stick to no more then 2 colours. This may be a challenge when producing the image poster, if i was going to be using a stock image then it will have to be used in a black and white format unless the image is a simple illustrator of some sort.
