So before i left my home to go back from Leeds, I decided to take photos of my Dad's stamp collection.

The book was a beautiful vintage looking book.

It was great to have a worn down book as this corresponds to the how old the stamps are too. Anyway the book has decorative sides to it.

When the book was opened, I suddenly saw how beautiful all the stamps look together as a whole instead of just a single one.

Blank page of the book.

Every page had stamps from different countries and in total i counted around 104 different countries which my dad had collected stamps from over the years.

Stamps with only the kings of Britain.

Along with the stamp book, my Dad has first issues stamp. First issue where the first day the stamps came out.

Another first issue.

Another first issue envelope.

These where just a few of the first issues collected.

Also my dad had an envelope which were all doubles of the stamps he had already had.

Stamp hinges which were pieces of sellotape that you stuck the stamps on with (which are all now dried up due to age)
So that all the things my Dad had in his collect. At first i thought stamps was extremely boring and dull but after looking through the book it totally blew my mind and i came away pretty fascinated by just how much commitment and motivation it must of took to keep up with all the stamps collecting and you can really see the dedication within the collection.
