My concept for brief 4, was to create an interactive stamp, that you can scan through your phone and would come to life. Doing this would produce a game that would be instantly playable. There would be different stamps for different games. Hopefully this would entice children's interest and would encourage them to collect the different stamps.
I designed the poster for this concept and below is how i done. ( in a nutshell)
| So i started off with the football pitch. |
| This mountain will be the bases for the rock that will be connected to the football pitch. |
| I cut out a basic rock pyramid. |
| As the pitch was flat, i had to distort it, in order for it to look 3d. I used the perspective tool in Photoshop to achieve this. |
| Once i was happy with the pitch, i added it on to the rock pyramid and curved the bottom almost like a tornado shape. I also cut out random holes, to make the rock look like it was breaking apart, which gives the effect of impact and also shows motion. The stamp book at the bottom of the rock pyramid will be the main focus of where the whole burst will start from. |
| I darkened the rock to make it more natural looking and so it doesn't look completely photoshop onto the pitch. |
| I started added depth to the pitch and rock, by applying 3D layering with the dodge and burn tool. |
| I individually added players to the pitch to add action and to bring the image to life. I made Wayne Rooney bigger and more dramatic to add excitement and a bit of dramatic effect. |
| I added rocks around the bottom of the rock pyramid to make it look like a explosion that was directed from the stamp book. |
| Adding action and movement by applying little scatters of rocks. |
| After the image was complete, i added a black shape at the bottom, which would be where the information would lay. The black shape will allow the information to stand out amongst the busyness of the image above. |
| Final piece. Overall i feel like it works and portrays a fun, excited and visual app, which absolutely appeals to my target audience of young adults and children. This poster would hopefully stand out from the crowds as well as turn heads and spark peoples curiosity. |
| This is how the advert would look on a bus shelter. |
