Below are the sketches in which I am trying to come up with an idea/concept for the digital campaign for band Being As An Ocean.

This idea would kick in when there is 10 days left before the album is released. Essentially once there is 10 days remaining then the site will run through the 10 commandments and each commandment will either release a new song or a clue relating to that commandment. Either the wording of the commandment would be changed to match a song or a clue.
It would be exciting and interactive and would make the user come back each days. It would also run with the theme of the album of god and confessing. |
| Simplistic concept or a count down time. A popular choice for many people I presume but still an option. Could play around with the count down clock to make it more engaging and applying it more to the theme of god. Either the numbers animating or melting in some way, giving a creepy and dark feeling like god is there watching. |
This is my favourite concept at the lot as It has potential to be interactive for the user after the release of the album. Essentially It's playing of the '-' in between the G and D and using that for the focus point of this idea. The idea in a nutshell is for the dash to be some kind of submitting box for users to submit any message they like. They would be kind of confessing their feelings or anything they wish to god. It's playing off the name of the album and It also works well with the style of the band.
In the idea you can see where the message would go and below that Is what it could look like on the website. After the album has been released then every ones message will be shown, so the use can come back and view their message. |
| This idea is similar concept to the above but instead of the user being able to submit what ever they want, this time they'll have to confess a sin or something they done wrong. This again goes with the theme of the album of making it seem that you're talking to god. It can also be a nice way to relive your self in an exciting way. However, It could become quite negative with negative messages or even people not wanting to participate due to them having a no or a different religious beliefs. |
