Bank notes being bank notes apply to everyone in that particular country(s) and also on a global spectrum due to tourism. This suggest that what ever design you put on the bank note it would never be for a particular audience as everyone needs currency for daily life. The only situation were one certain demographic might be attracted to the Bauhaus bank notes would be people who essentially collect them. These audiences would collect the banknotes for a few reasons. They could be admirers of the Bauhaus movement or collect special editions of Bank notes. Another reason could be as the bank notes are based on the unification of Germany from the Euro they would instantly become a collectors items and since the last mark was discontinued in 1991 the rebirth of the mark would spark a lot of attention from the collectors. The demographic for collectors are very broad but the main demographic would either be the older generation who grew up with the Bauhaus movement or creatives who have studied and see the movement as a source of appreciation and influence.
