Studio Brief 2 - Home page/promotional design

The start up screen and also the design for most promotion collateral is a powerful visual meant to excite and create a dramatic energetic first impression when the user loads up the app and see this image or if they see the image on the promotional material. This is the first time the audience will see the games visual side and graphic style so its important to hit them with a visual that is dramatic and full of colour and life.

The design features Donald Trump and a few other main characters from the beach level. If other levels were fully created with other characters then they would also appear on the front. They appear in a dramatic fashion with an explosion behind then which is caused by one of Trumps supporters accidentally blowing himself up into the sky. At first glance the user is witnessing the humour and the unintelligent personality of Trumps supporters. There also a wall behind them all to further mock Trumps wall policy.

The user will also see Trump for the first time as a powerful figure. He stands there strong with an almighty pose, which is misleading as this is the only time where he isn't mocked. However the reason for the power stance and stern look is because what Donald Trumps is based off. As you can see on the right is a famous propaganda poster which shows Hitler looking powerful and strong ready to march forward and conquer Germany with the Nazi flag in his hand. 

So as a subtle resemblance to Hitler, Donald Trump and the whole layout of the design visual has been closely linked to the Hitlers propaganda poster. It's very subtle but the message behind it is very powerful. Not everyone will make the connection but if they do they will see the inventive clever resembles and then make the connection between trump and hitler. It's meant to suggest that they are both similar and both have similar views and opinions. There are also other subtle resemblance to Hitler in the photo. He is wearing a red arm band in a similar fashion to how Nazi's did in ww2 and also what appears to be his mouth can also double up as the infamous Hitler tash. It's effective because people might just think that its his mouth but others will see the connection.

This all in effective further damages Trumps reputation and shows him as a remake and imitation of Hitler and someone that shouldn't be trusted to lead America. Lastly, the logo has been used in white to compliment the rest of the design and to avoid any clash of colours.
