In the political world professionalism and influence are the most important skills politicians need in order to gain votes and to attract support for their political agendas. 8 bit games project the opposite of professionalism and influence due to style and set up of the game. Below are examples of a few 8 bit games that have used 8 bit to express humour and parody.

The below game is a fighting game similar to that of street fighter but set within an 8 bit environment. Underneath the image is the real street fighter game in which you can clearly see the big different in terms of graphics. The user will see the 8 bit game more of a parody due to the emphasis of appearance from the fighters bigger heads and minimal features. They strip away any detail only leaving the basic human features such as mouth, nose and hair in tacts in a minimal illustrative way. Less detail demonstrates a comical caricature style leaving nothing to the imagination about character development. The overall colour scheme is also very striped back and minimal. The restrictedness is due to the pixel grid and the flatness of the environment lowering the need for a vast amount of colours. 

The real street fighter game is more realistic with a lot more detailed being embedded within the game. Fighters are able to move in any direction and angle with the perception of depth in the background instead of flat imagery. The audience can engage more and connect with the characters better and also developing a sense of commitment and connection with the characters development through the game. This is something that I wouldn't want for the game around Donald Trump; I want the user to see the game for how it appears, a sarcastic 8 bit game mocking Donald Trumps appearance and opinions. I don't want people to find holes within the game where Trump can become likeable in a professional way that could lead to more votes and giving legitimacy towards his cause but instead see him as a funny figure that Is made to be laughed at.
