The final resolution consists of two games, one animated and one still. Promotional material for the campaign, logo and app logo. All of these finished resolutions all promote a message of parody and political satire against Donald Trump and his supporters. The reason for the whole campaign was to expose Donald Trump by using humour, sarcasm and irony to attack him. Trump is a dangerous political figure who has a very good chance of becoming the next president, so it was crucial to persuade users to not see Trump as a future president but as a caricature and a monster who sacrifices his supporters to blow themselves up and kills the pope. The game gave the perfect opportunity to portray Trump as a joke, the 8 bit aesthetic combined with the vibrant colours and humour made Trump into a caricature. Over exagerating and emphasising his looks only strengthen this point. All the way through, both games associate a close link between Trump to Hitler, this was because Hitler and Trump dangerously share the same views. It was important to burn these images of Trump with a red arm band and with a Hitler moustache in order for it to become normalised and accepted as fact that both Hitler and Trump do share the same agendas.
The game is trying to burn these images into the head of all users, through subliminal visuals and the distortion of the truth users would start to think certain aspects of the game were the truth, like the Nazis did with the Jews apperance of the nose. When the users walk away from the game and hear Trumps name on the news, hopefully the image that pops into their head is a distorted version of the real Tump. A Donald Trump who's actual surname is German who has really big bleach blonde hair, who hates the pope and brown people and also would happily see his supporters kill themselves for his personal agenda. An overall image that is negative of Trump in every shape and form. This in return will mean that these users who play the game would not give their vote for Trump. The way the game ensures this is by repetition of negativity within Trumps character, satire and incorporating influential figures within the game, so the user can link Trumps words with actual people in the game.
The game also offers a lot more then a game that greats a parody from Trumps life. Underneath the game acts as an educational tool. This educational tool teaches all users from people who support and don’t support Trump about current view points of people within politics and their views. Young users with no knowledge of politics could potentially learn from the game. It will open them up to a number of people within the game and the game will educate them about what policies and views are acceptable and what aren't. They will begin to understand that the opinions that Trump expresses are wrong and are in a similar category as Hitler. Through the game other figures such as Hillary and Bernie will also appear. Again the game would distort facts to ensure favouritism for both Hillary and Bernie over Trump. This would essentially demonstrate to the young users that the views of these other components are more informed and actually hold opinions and policies that would change America for the better.
