Studio Brief 2 - Screen Sizes CAN POST

Responsive design is crucial to maximise usership and to cater for all. Producing a game on multiple platforms allows all types of users from across the world to have access to the game. It opens up the spectrum to people off all backgrounds and also people with disabilities. Disabled users made need special equipment in order to access the desktop, therefore, theres a good chance they wouldn't be able to play the game on a mobile or tablet — Other users who might not be finically stable may only have access to internet cafes can also enjoy the game. It opens up the community of people and in return the games political satire and message along with it’s underlying educational tool can reach more Americans and people across the world. 

Whitehouse race is a game that can be played anywhere at anytime, it can be played with an internet on the website or downloaded in cater for users who want to play it without a connection. With a save and load feature the user would be able to save their progress at home on the desktop and continue playing on their mobile on the train to work. Compatibility across all platforms will allow a perfect streamline user journey. 

In terms of screen orientation the game would also support landscape and portrait mode. Having both modes would ensure a comfortable and personalised experience for all users. Restrictions to games only causes usability issues as users all how their unique style of interacting with devices. As I’ve already mentioned, It also helps users who would struggle to play the game in a certain orientation. It would help users with eye sight issues and certain users who's larger hands may also cause issue playing in portrait mode especially if played on the IPhone.
